Description
My name is Shekiwe T and I am a dedicated and compassionate female home carer with Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care. Very hard working, Honestly and very Trustworthy. I have extensive experience in providing support and care for individuals with various conditions. Throughout my career, I have worked with clients who have had Mild Cognitive Impairment, Parkinson's Disease, anxiety, depression, and have been bedbound. I have provided both live-in and hourly care, as well as overnight support.
I have honed my skills in assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, toileting, and dressing. I am also experienced in catheter care and can ensure the comfort and safety of individuals in need. Beyond physical care, I strongly believe in the importance of companionship. I enjoy engaging with my clients and providing a listening ear and emotional support.
In my free time, I enjoy taking long walks, cooking, and baking delicious meals, knitting, and socializing with friends and family. I am an avid reader, finding solace and inspiration in the pages of a good book. When it comes to pets, I have a preference for fish and birds and find great joy in caring for them.
My caring nature and friendly demeanor have made it easy for me to build strong relationships with my clients. I am always ready to lend a helping hand and go the extra mile to ensure their comfort and well-being. My motivation for being a home carer stems from my deep desire to help people lead independent lives, despite any limitations or conditions they may face.
